About / Prospective Students /  Pre-degree requirements

A pre-degree course is part of the process of admission process to the Graduate Program. Its duration is of approximately one semester, and its main objective is to introduce prospective students to the central topics in the different fields of knowledge in which the Graduate Program in Philosophy of Science is focused, as well as to serve as an evaluation of their aptitudes.

It is obligatory for prospective students interested in getting into the Graduate Program to undertake the pre-degree course, even though in exemptional cases that will be considered by the Admissions Committee it will be possible to exempt one or more of the modules of the pre-degree course.
